General
University Fee
The
General University Fee (GUF) was instituted at the University to help support
student related programs and institutional services of those programs. These programs are, by definition, ancillary
to the educational mission of the University and are expected to generate
a portion of their operating revenue through fees for services or sales charges.
The General University Fee provides support for such programs as recreational
activities, Jorgensen auditorium, Student Health Services and other campus
activities and programs.
Infrastructure
Maintenance Fee
The
Infrastructure Maintenance Fee (IMF) supports debt service related to new
residence halls and other projects. It
also supports Operating and Maintenance (O&M) costs related to UCONN 2000
construction projects.
Student
Transit Fee
Students on the Storrs campus are charged a Transit Fee of $25 per semester.
This fee supports the campus shuttle bus service.
